Many bee products originate from a passion for and knowledge of the world of bees, and at this time of climate change, the protection of bees is more fundamental than ever before. We must remember that bees provide our society with major benefits and environmental services. Through pollination, bees perform a strategic function for the conservation of the flora, helping to improve and maintain biodiversity. A reduction in bee numbers may therefore be a serious threat to the natural ecosystems in which they live. It is therefore essential to ensure their survival and we must not forget that bees provide products with high nutritional value, such as honey, royal jelly, propolis and pollen, not fundamental items in our diet but natural remedies with no environmental impact which can help to keep us in good health.
